"We had booked the hotel after reading reviews on Tripadvisor and we are very pleased to recommend the place. The hotel is family run and it really shows. The restaurant has a good size menu which seems to change daily. Despite planning to eat out during our trip, our first dinner in the hotel restaurant was so good that we actually ended up eating there for a second night too."

"Just got back from a Sunday night Dinner, Bed & Breakfast. Dinner - Both had three courses which were included in the price. Great food, on par with a top restuarant, good varied menu with not too many choices so you know the ingredients are seasonal and fresh. Excellant presentation and service in a loving setting."

"Ascot house hotel is a lovely hotel in central Harrogate. Great, friendly and very personal service with beautiful bedrooms. There are some really nice touches (like the Roberts digital radio in the room) and the room was beautifully dressed. Comfy, sturdy beds ensure a great night's sleep. Prices are exceptionally reasonable. I would undoubtedly stay here again."
